About this product
About this product
Palo santo, which translates to "holy wood" in Spanish, is a sacred tree native to Peru. It has been used in spiritual and ceremonial practice for centuries, prized for its warm, sweet, resinous scent that sits somewhere between incense wood and citrus. The smoke is used in ritual to mark the beginning of a ceremony, clear a space before meditation or intention setting, or simply as a fragrance that carries meaning for those familiar with the tradition. These sticks are ethically sourced from Peru and available in quantities of 1, 5, 10 or 25 sticks.
To use, hold the stick at a 45 degree angle toward a candle flame, let it catch for about 30 seconds, then blow out the flame. The ember will produce a steady stream of aromatic smoke. Store in a dry place to ensure easy lighting.
Use in a well ventilated space, away from flammable materials. Never leave burning materials unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
